  1. I so completely empathise with you about the headaches thing!! It's the worst, and so annoying when it stops you doing fun things that you want to do. I think the wisdom teeth opperation has agravated mine or something as well because I feel like I've pretty much had a constant migraine since I had it done!! and I know what you mean about not wanting to take too many painkillers, I have them so often. I think it's ok though as long as you interchange them so that your not always having the same one, it normally works better then too:) xx

  2. Why must they keep delaying your surgery date?! I don't see why they can't just book it now so you can rest assured.

  3. @ Rosa: I noticed huge changes once my wisdom teeth were out, not sure if this will be the same for you but I had a lot of movement and my bite changed drastically. I was told that as the bite changed it could relieve the headaches or make them worse depending on the position. I had my wisdom teeth out in May and its been pretty much 50/50 since then on whether or not I'll have pain on any given day. Hope your pain subsides

@ Max: I don't know if its the fact that they just enjoy the torture or if they are just worried I won't actually be ready in time for surgery. I'm sort of really pissed about this because initially they told me I would be ready for December this year, that so didn't happen. Blah, keeping my fingers crossed for January at this point.

  4. Wow that's crazy about them filing down your teeth, but it looks good! Your room on the other hand looks messy! haha I hope you aren't in too much pain today and I'm sure by your next ortho appointment you'll know when your surgery date is. Are you going to take any time off of university for your surgery?

  5. Wow, I think our voices sound really similar!

Do you know if surgery will change your voice?

  6. @ Kevin: my room has ben messy I must admit, due to finals. I was willing to take time off uni to have the surgery but it looks like I'll be waiting until after finals for a date anyway so at this point no. My doctor was suggesting I take time off because the jaw pain has made it really difficult and trying to keep up in running me down. We'll see how it goes. Are you going to take time off?
@MKShaw: I'm not sure about the voice changing but it should help improve my lisp. I'm going to see a speech therapist in the future as well to try to get rid of the lisp and stop the tongue thrust.

  7. No, I'm not. January is early enough in the semester that I think I'll just miss a few days and deal with it. I am taking a month off of work though :) also I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that makes it easier. Hope all is well with you. Happy Holidays Terra!!!
