F*#%!!!!!!!!

What the hell is wrong with receptionists?????
I've called my surgeons office 4 times today.
First I was told there is an appointment on Thursday, so I moved my other appointments for school.
I call back and they seem to have given that appointment away.
WTFFF
But wait, then I get told they'll call me back, which doesn't happen. So I call them back.
They seem to have no idea what appointment I'm talking about, confuse me with another patient telling me something about my records being there. Tell me I already booked my appointment, and then realize they are talking to the wrong person.
Who the hell hires these people?
So I explain everything to her, and then she says okay, I'll go check with the girls. Hangs up on me.
I don't get a call back so I call after about an hour and a half and they are closed.
WHAT THE F#%@!!!!!!!

I'm going to call back tomorrow and if this persists I'm calling the director at my orthodontist clinic and having them call because they referred me to this surgeon.

I'm not the happiest person right now after spending all day trying to get an appointment with my surgeon and a surgery date.

I also found it pretty strange when my orthodontist, who is suppose to give me the okay for booking surgery asked me if I have a surgery date yet when I went in today.

I understand these places have a lot of patients, but I think someone who is having double jaw surgery has the right to get a straight answer about their appointment or at least a call back.

Worst customer service ever!!!!!

Orthodontist Adjustment Update and some good news for once

Hey Everyone!!
Okay, so I had an appointment today with my orthodontist.
My usual ortho was there today, Dr. G.
Not much went on, I just had my powerchains changed.
I have two gaps in the lower teeth that need to close.

Okay now onto some good news!!
So Dr. G gave me the okay to book my jaw surgery!!
Finally!!!!!!!!
He said I should be ready to go for May.
I called my surgeons office and I'm waiting for them to call back in regards to a surgery date.
It looks like I'll have to go in sometime soon and let Dr. C(my surgeon) see my bite for himself.

Well I am very very excited and nervous and everything!!!!
I can't believe how fast a whole year went by!!!
Its amazing how much can happen in a year and how much we can change.

I feel so bad because I have a ton of emails and comments that I haven't responded to on my youtube and my blog. My youtube has hit over 600 subscribers and over 180000 video views. So I'm glad that someone out there finds my story useful. I decided to keep track of my story because a year ago when my jaw was going weird on my and I was soooo confused about what to do, I watched every video I could find and read every single blog on the planet. So hopefully my blog and videos clarifies something for someone.

I notice a lot of changes in my face. I for sure haven't lost weight but my face is more concave, I'm looking like a skeleton face at time, which sucks because I always had a fullness to my face, so its like a face I don't recognize. My chin has disappeared. I see old pictures of my profile and I had much more of a chin, maybe its the underbite but my chin is more convex and when I talk it appears as if my chin is gone.

Other than that I am sooooo busy in my day to day life, which is great because I can sleep for once from being so tired. I notice that sleep is a necessity with my jaw issues. If I don't get enough sleep the pain is a lot worse and I just feel headachy all day. I have been rarely taking painkillers, and I'm trying very hard to relax my jaw.
I have midterms for the next two weeks and lots of appointments and I'm tutoring so I've had no time for anything. I'm really really hoping I get my damn surgery date though.
gihSDgisgh
AAHHHHHHHHHHH I don't know if I should smile or cry!!!!

Excuse my update photos, I haven't bothered to bother with my appearance, and my hair and makeup is at its minimal mess.

Some of my orthodontists and surgeons previous work

Just want to make it clear, i have no idea who this person is, but his pictures were up on my orthdontists website and I was also informed by the ortho that this guy had jaw surgery with my surgeon Dr C. This seems very reassuring this far into the process when I have a better understanding of the outcomes. I can see how his profile is much more balanced now.

I have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow with Dr G so lets hope for some good news for once!
I'll update when I get home from that. I swear at this point there is nothing more exciting than knowing I have an appointment coming up. I am still hoping that I can have the surgery this spring.

M.I.A. month

Hey readers!!

I have really gone missing this past month, haven't updated and haven't responded to emails or comments in weeks. Bad bad Terra!!!

Since school went back on the 3rd I have been drowning in work. I'm a Business students specializing in Accounting and the workload is very heavy. I'm trying to do more of my CA required courses instead of just filler stuff like HR so its been really busy this term.

I'm also tutoring astronomy and unfortunately the tutors who were also tutoring for the natural science department in astronomy have stopped tutoring so I've had to pick up more students.

My jaw is so so. Some days its a pain, and other days not so bad. I think being back in school and talking less is helping too. I did get a juicer which was awesome but my dad managed to break a piece and i'm waiting for it to come in. So no juice for a few weeks.

I promise I will get around to going through all my emails and messages and comments one day soon. I have 3 midterms coming up and two papers due so I may continue to me MIA for a while.

I have an orthodontist appointment next week so I will try to make a video with the details and I'm sure I'll update soon with the details of how that goes.

Also I thought this was appropriate considering what a pain cleaning braces is. This first world problem has a whole new meaning for us brace faces.
