Thank you! yes its very exciting, I can't wait to find out whats going to happen. I have lots of love for Australia :) It really is the most wonderful place in the world.
Good luck! Dr. Camaniti is a great surgeon. He's so patient and explains everything really well. He has a really good bedside manner which some surgeons really lack.
Thank you! thats so good to hear! I was so happy to hear that you had gone through the surgery with him and it went well, its very reassuring. How has your healing process gone?
Vero, I'm anxious to hear about your surgical consult you had today. What did the surgeon say? What kind of time frame are you looking at?
I've had my braces for three weeks now and my bite is getting worse, and I don't mean aesthetically, I knew that would happen. The teeth have moved in such a way that it is even more difficult to chew with the back molars.
@ Kristi : Hey I made a video earlier today but forgot to post it on my blog, I think I'm still a bit out of it. Its posted now and it explains everything. Looks like I'm going to be having double jaw surgery + genioplasty + wisdom teeth out. Should be about a year before I can book surgery. He also told me what you are saying, that its going to get worse before it gets better. Wow I can't believe your bite has already changed that much. That is good though because your teeth are moving and it will all bring you closer to surgery. Did they say it would get much worse than it is?
Not sure if you'll see this or not but first let me see this is definitely the best blog I've seen regarding the topic thus far online. Very impressed and it has actually been very helpful to me personally. In fact I might even start my own, seems like it might be fun. I FINALLY have my consultation with the oral surgeon tomorrow 40 days after I got the recommendation from the orthodontist and probably closer to 60 since I learned I'd actually be getting braces. So just like this video I'm literally have the same thoughts and feelings with my open bite. Again though very impressed with the blog and can't wait to hear more about the surgery etc.
Good luck on tuesday, i understand your excitement, i couldnt wait for my surgeon appointment.
