  1. Have you heard any news about getting your braces? I'm assuming you are waiting for insurance approval. Luckily your teeth are pretty straight. I've only had these braces for three days and my under bite is already accentuated (no I'm not imagining it). Now that there is an extra space I smile with my tongue perched in between the gap. Its so goofy.

  2. April is just around the corner! You should be finding out about your treatment soon then. My ortho said treatment time will be 5-6 months before surgery. But Dr. Gunson has the final say if my teeth are aligned enough for the surgery.

  3. Hi Vero! Glad I got a chance to check out your blog. You're doing the right thing and when it's all said and done you'll be very happy! It's nervewracking starting the process, but you'll see that for the most part people won't really focus in on your braces. I've really gotten very few comments about and for the most part, people are really supportive. Especially since you're 18 most people at your university will remember what it's like to have braces and will lend their support.

    @ Heather J
Yeah i'm hoping the braces arent too obvious. Did you have jaw surgery or just the braces. I'm really looking forward to the end result, so I'll just keep that in mind as I move forward.
