Waaaa I'm getting my braces again probably within the month. Not looking forward to rubber bands, I never had to have them when I had braces as a kid. Are they annoying??
Oh the rubber bands are a pain. I think thats whats been giving me the headaches. The good news is for jaw surgery patients, they aren't usually in elastics until after the surgery and its usually for around 6 months on average. In my case my surgeon isn't happy with my jaws yet and my orthodontist is trying to rotate my jaw a bit using elastics, but it's pretty uncommon. He said 90% of the time, the surgeon is happy with just the regular decompensation. The braces themselves aren't bad, its only around adjustments that they are a real pain.
